Just finished my fourth WIRED magazine and first GQ! Its been an exciting 14 weeks and what I have learnt so far has been invaluable for my skill set. Was hard getting back into in-design but now I realise just how powerful a program it is.

Well as of yesterday I have officially withdrew from University! Back in work down in London now, feels strange to have finally left Salford knowing I wont be going back this time, quite daunting at first but the job is going well and I am really enjoying this sudden change of scenery. I was unhappy with the course for a long time it didn’t really suit me so im lucky a job came up now before I imploded!
Still working in the Wired magazine office, going over to GQ magazine later today and hopefully start in that office next week!
Im keeping this blog going while University is still on as its nice to see everybody’s final projects evolving this year!

Well only two hours left and I will have finished my first day of work in Conde Nast, so far so good haven’t messed up anything so think im safe from getting fired on my first day now!
The office is pretty sweet and I have a nice big computer to play with. The new software isnt that hard to learn so hopefully by next week ill be able to get through everything on my own.
Still dreading HTML 5, I hate it but Ill have to learn it pretty quick if im going to keep this job for long eeek :-(
New Job at Condé Nast!
It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was commissioned to do freelance work for Wired magazine and now I find myself working for them and soon GQ magazine full time and leaving university! Its strange actually leaving Uni again to go and do something else and although I have done it twice before this time I dont think I will decide to come back! I have had problems all year coming back to University when all I wanted to do was concentrate on my Freelance projects and just get out into the world and get a job.
Its been a hectic week but watch this space as hopefully I will be in a better position to do more 3D work for the mag and be allowed to post it here as well as whatever other stuff they have be getting into…
